General principles for wiki

  • Search to see whether someone has written a similar page before you start one yourself.
  • Review conventions of the project you are working in regarding e.g.:
  • the naming; see also Help:Page name.
  • whether a separate page is justified; perhaps it is better to add the text to a related page (especially if the text is not very long); that page can always be split later, after it has grown.

Naming To structure information that is written, and avoid unnecessary renaming/moving of pages there are some naming conventions described below. Use the discussion page to discuss what the naming conventions should be or suggest changes to the present ones.

So far:

Units
Are ALWAYS to be refered to in plural.

Item descriptions
Main item page called Items then each item-page is named 'itemname' On bottom of item page add: [[category:Items]][[category:Common Items]]

Zeb has decided: use categores instead. So item is called "itemname", and add it to item category, and its commonmess as subcategory

Spell descriptions
Main spell page called Spells then each spell-page is named 'spellname'

Zeb has decided: use categores instead. So spell is called "spellname", and add it to color category, and its complexnesss category and so on for heroes, hero and unit abilities, wonders etc.

Also, when you add a new page on a major concept of the game, please
add it to the Knowledgebase page. Thank you.
