From The Five Pillars

So you are looking for quick answers, wanting to join a guild, or really get to know some of the players behind the mages you battle. IRC is your avenue to do this. Several guild in The Five Pillars have their own IRC channel in case you need to get in touch with them. Alot of players are willing to help n00bs

There are 3 ways to get on IRC:

1. Via Software - Best
You'll need an irc program like mirc (http://www.mirc.com), then connect to galaxynet server, and type /join #fivepillars

2. Galaxynet Java Applet - Good
If you don't wish to download the software, then you can also go to:
http://www.galaxynet.org/javirc/applet.html
and once you connect type /join #fivepillars
the java irc applet on the galaxy server site will allow you to also join other rooms. And allows you to be in multiple rooms. If the link doesn't work properly go to http://www.galaxynet.org/ and click chat now link

3. Via Chat link - Least Recommended, but good for getting questions answered.
While the chat link found on the left menu page in the game will take you to the #fivepillars channel on galaxynet server, it won't give you the full benefits of the IRC experience nor will it let you be in the various guild channels. So the java applet on the galaxynet home page or using an irc program are your best options.

The #fivepillars channel is particularly fun during havoc. You'll be able to see all the players conversing during havoc.
