Most units attack twice in a battle, the Main Attack of the unit is called Primary Attack. The primary attack type describes the basis of a unit's primary attack: an Acid Beasts' primary attack type is Ranged Poison. This means you should try to arrange your Acid Beasts so they hit something with low Resistance to Ranged and Poison attacks.
